During a life spent by the oceans of Australia, Mitch has long marvelled at the almost alien creature that is the Portuguese man-o-war, otherwise known as the blue bottle.

Equipped with a sting, the blue bottle is overlaid with beachgoers, thereby suggesting the intermingling of man and nature, pleasure and pain.
